Today Ted is a Company Chairman providing great advice and Leadership- below is a list of Ted's achievements

(1936- and still going strong)
Australian Composer, Playwright, Actor and Entertainer
You may remember him as the charismatic police constable or a cheeky pirate, the first captain of the "love boat" cruise ship or more recently a medieval magician Merlin. However Ted Hamilton has another side to him demonstrates his broad talent- he came back to Australia in 2002 after spending the last couple of decades in America.

In July  2002 I sat in the artists forum at Chapel on Chapel that intimate theatre with 300 other people. A cabaret act was about to begin. I looked around the room I there were all the faces that I grew up watching on TV. Our family were avid Division 4 fans and Constable Kevin Dwyer was definitely easy to watch. I have known Ted for over 20 years and I had only seen him sing on one occasion in Los Angeles, impromptu yet a wonder to watch. Ted excitedly wanted to entertain his friends and fans that he had not seen for many a year.  I had to see this and so did they!
Ted Hamilton sang everything from Danny Boy to  Mack the Knife and the crowd applauded and we asked for an encore. Which was granted. I have seen shows around the world but they all paled to Ted's performance that night.
Those of us who know Ted remember after Division 4 Ted had his own music show on the ABC here but in the early 70’s music in Australia? Well let's just say cabaret and jazz were not the forefront of the Australian charts. In the United States Ted was successful as a singing artist but was better remembered for his film and TV roles.

As Captain Thomas Ford in the 1976 series of the Love Boat and the Pirate King in the Pirate movie loosely related Gilbert and Sullivan Pirates of Penzance. You will have seen him also pop up in Mission Impossible  and the Six Million Dollar Man. Last year he played Merlin in the TV series Guinevere Jones .

Attending to "unfinished business" here and abroad.
Ted recently celebrated his three score and ten and I must say I am amazed at his zest and love of life's pleasures. He is a still as smart as a whip and as fit as a fiddler. With age we see many with the signs of life taking its tole,  not so in Ted's case. He regiment is one of a good well balanced diet along with daily exercise- a lesson to us all to follow..
