Spam & Virus Newsletter I have sought the best and most cost effective way of fighting viruses, spam and spy ware and over the past five years have found the following mentioned to be the quite good. As a responsible user of the internet the way you send your emails is important. You don’t want to be receiving and email from someone say “Thanks for your address book you forgot to use Bcc:” When you send emails to groups of people the best way is to use Bcc; And if you want to keep your address book up to date my I suggest a program known as plaxo it’s free for a basic program and it will help you- and if you have a change of position, phone number or other contact details you can send a message to all your contacts with confidence and in feel it is the safest way to send the notice?? www.plaxo.com an infinite free trial and as I have over a high volume of contacts in my address book all managed by Plaxo I highly recommend using it. There are many virus that hide inside your email attachment called Trojans or Email-Worm. Such as Win32.Bagle.bb, Email-Worm.Win32.Bagle.pac FYI- This trojan dropper appeared on March 1st, 2005. The dropper is sent by Bagle.be worm as an attachment to its infected e-mails. The dropper is sent inside a ZIP archive. The distribution was quite high. May I suggest adding (www.avast.com) it’s free for home user/ single computer click on avast! 4 home for the free version on LHS of page With the many emails we receive I am able to filter over 1,000 junk emails a day out of my system and I haven’t had a virus get through in over 2 years. and while I am at it http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html is a great spy ware and free with donation if you like it.
