Anthony Paterson

As and youth I learned the value of hard work and reward. Having a paper round, mowing lawns, running errands and part-time work with my Uncle. It gave me independence at an early age.

Commencing my full time employ by working for an Australian bank. Those first years being interrupted by serving my country with a stint in the Australian Armed Forces- Upon my return to civilian life, I returned to working in the banking sector and ever so slowly worked my way up the internal corporate ladder. With banking deregulation looming on the horizon and the opportunity to expand my career I made a career change in 1980 and commenced working for an international banking group. In 1982 an unexpected opportunity took me to the USA and beyond for over 16 years. As in the words or Horace "Carpe diem".

In 1984, established  "PatNas International" - a small but successful independent business consulting company in the USA. Negotiating globally with venture capital groups,  strategizing IPO's (initial public offerings). Implemented comprehensive business plans. Evaluated business opportunities and business enterprises. Our organization also provided extensive investigatory and security services for private, NGO and subcontracted to official organizations. Additionally, for several years acted as trustee for, and administered all aspects of a private trust.

Taking the opportunity to further my education when-ever time permitted and did so by attending and completing numerous courses over the years.

During my career holding executive positions as Company Director. Company President, CEO and other senior positions. Having served as an executive with several private and public technology companies, where responsibilities included planning, general management, implementing strategies & business development and sale.

After returning to Australia in 1998, spent one year in semi-retirement-  However the mind was overactive and bored. So I went back to Uni to do a refresher course on business compliance- with GST being introduced and so many changes over the years , I thought it would be a good idea and what better place than that where knowledge is gathered and taught.  Enjoyed it greatly and I must say it was a bit of a "lark" having a student card at 50+. However, I believe you have to be always willing to learn and therefore always a student.

In 1999 I established Anthony Paterson-Consulting. Having a few clients business was good and my abilities proved a "niche" in the consulting market by providing private business consulting .

One day- I said a prayer to he (or she) who guides us all "Please let me find a station in life where I can use every talent and skill I have and not be bored -where I will be in a position to help others". Only to prove, you should be careful what you pray for- you might have it answered.

Today I consult to a group of companies developing numerous products and services-  see the links page.

In regards the internet the areas of expertise now includes planning, viability, research, development and implementation of every facet of online (internet) and off-line services . Including Internet Service Provider (ISP), eCommerce,  online shopping, home-based businesses, Marketing, Advertising, Hardware and Software equipment, software, support and redundancy and more!

Simply put, if it's to do with internet- "We can arrange that!"

In Business there must be a "Win-Win". For when all parties are content with their arrangements great allies are forged.

I am the sum of all my experiences and do not regret the past - draw strength from life's trial and tribulations. Expect the unexpected: And when things don't quite go the way you planned - Get up dust yourself off and say "NEXT!"

Oh yes! There is a point in time where dreams are what we think we can achieve. Reality is achieving those dream- In short you can achieve any dream as long as you take reality with you!

To those who say it can't be done!
